It is 100% merino wool put up in hanks of 175 yards. She recommends a needle range of U.S. # 2 – 3. The care is machine wash on delicate or hand wash and dry flat. |

| It will take 2 hanks for 1 pair of average socks
1 – 2 hanks for a lacy scarf and 4 hanks for a shawl. Claudia dyes in relatively small batches so be sure to order enough to complete your project.
